What does it take to host your land? It’s easier than you think!

Overview: Hosting your land with HookHub is a great way to earn passive income by offering your unused space to RV travelers.

Are amenities required?

A question we get asked often is, “What kinds of amenities do I need to have to start hosting on Hookhub?” The answer is, “None.” Many short-term RVers love dry camping—get them away from the hustle and bustle of city life. If you choose to offer any amenities or hookups (water or electric) you can charge more. This means you don’t need to make an expensive investment in infrastructure before giving hosting on Hookhub a try.

How much can I make?

Our average active host makes $8,000–$15,000 per year. It all depends on the number of spaces you offer, the location and amenities of your property. With hookups, an ideal location and extra amenities- the potential yearly income for one space is over $40,000.

You can offer nightly stays for a higher rate and/or offer monthly or yearly stays for regular income. Even without amenities, you can offer dry camping or storage parking.

Extra things to know:

Creating and maintaining your listing is absolutely free. You set your own price and keep 90% of your earnings. The rest goes towards payment processing, stellar 7 day a week customer support, our $1M USD liability insurance policy, and other platform costs.

| Free to host and you set your nightly rate.

How do I get started?

Getting started is easier than you might think! Follow these steps, and remember we are always here to help:

Create your Hookhub Account
No membership. No fees. Just go to www.hookhub.co and create your account.

Take Pictures of your Property
Snap a few pics! 4 images minimum are needed, but we recommend taking many—the images are what get you bookings. Take a picture of the space the RV will be parking in, a picture of the hookups (if applicable), pictures of the best features of your property, and even images of fun things to do in the area.

Create your Space on Hookhub
It takes on average about 5-10 minutes to get your space live on Hookhub. The easy step-by-step process guides you through, and in a few clicks you will be ready to start making your passive income. You can also set your availability (in case you don’t want people on your property for certain weekends, days, or months), set your custom rules and regulations, and set your income rate. Create a detailed and accurate listing with high-quality photos. Highlight the unique features of your land, any amenities offered, and the type of experience travelers can expect. Set a competitive price based on the amenities you offer, the location of your land, and the going rates in your area.

Final Thoughts

Getting started on Hookhub is a breeze. Once your land is listed, it’s important to respond promptly to inquiries and booking requests. Good communication helps build trust with potential guests. If you have any additional questions, please reach out to us! Our support team is very responsive and excited to help.
